How gpsOne™ Assisted Location-Position Technology Works

When line-of-sight is blocked (by say a vehicle’s metal chassis, a tall building, or a cargo container), the Q-Locator GPS tracker is still able to access positioning data from servers that are part of the Sprint/Nextel CDMA network. Don’t risk compromising your covert tracking operation with tell-tale external antennas or weak signals resulting in poor accuracy.

Real Time GPS Tracker with Multiple Power Saving Modes

In order to maximize the battery life of your GPS Q-Locator, the active tracking device was designed to allow you to select the proper operating mode for your tracking operation. You can conserve battery power by requesting positioning information only when you “ping” the device, have the device send out positioning updates at fixed intervals, or have the GPS tracker use its onboard vibration detector to determine whether it’s moving or stationary and then send out updates at intervals according to your needs.

GPS Geo-Fencing 

Suppose the individual or high-value asset you’re tracking goes off course or strays into an area where they shouldn’t go. This potentially disastrous situation can be prevented with the Q-Locator’s Geo-Fencing feature. By virtually drawing zones on customizable maps you can receive an alert notification via e-mail or SMS text message when your pre-defined boundaries are crossed.
